Orphaned Elephants
Behind the cause
Our longtime partners at theĀ Sheldrick Wildlife TrustĀ in Kenya are renowned for their work with elephants, operating the most successful orphaned baby elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world.Ā Founded by pioneering conservationist Dame Daphne, and today led by her daughter Angela Sheldrick, the charityās Orphansā Project has successfully hand-reared and released more than 320 orphaned elephants back into the wild. This vital mission is reinforced by a holistic approach to conserving Kenyaās share of the 400,000 wild elephants remaining in Africa, down from 1.9 million in 1979. This includes anti-poaching and mobile veterinary units that protect the elephants and other species in their natural habitat and give immediate assistance to animals in distress, as well as outreach programs that engage local communities in these conservation efforts.
With each cushion we will donate one bottle of milk to feed rescued orphan elephants in the care of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
How can you help directly?

You can purchase 2 bottles of milkāenough for one milk feed for one orphanāfor $6.Ā Chantecaille will match each feeding you purchase.
